Basic Respiratory Support

  • Richmond Library 2987 Almond Street Philadelphia, PA, 19134 United States (map)

We’ll discuss the basics of caring for the respiratory system and what to do when you have a cough or are sick with a viral infection. We’ll talk about how to go about selecting the appropriate herbs for various remedies when you’re sick.

Finally, we’ll spend some time relaxing & practicing herbal respiratory steam inhalations during class (these are also great for the skin/face, and nice and comforting to the nervous system)!

This workshop is part of the recurring Introductory Herbalism series hosted by the Richmond Library. Workshops are at 5:30 pm on the third Tuesday of each month at the library. There is a suggested donation of $10 for each workshop. There will be a tea to sip during class, so be sure to bring your favorite mug!
